The cardiology team at St Georges celebrated being the first team in the UK to use Johnson & Johnson’s new Dual Energy ThermoCool SmartTouch Ablation Catheter - reducing ablation times and improving outcomes for patients. A wonderful step forward in ablation technology and rapidly improving patient experience!

A brilliant example of teamwork and innovation from the cardiac electrophysiology community.

The cardiac rhythm team at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust recently shared an exciting case highlighting a “Why not both?” approach to treatment - combining techniques to achieve the best possible outcome for their patients.

As one of the UK’s leading centres for the treatment of heart rhythm conditions, St George’s has a long-standing reputation for pioneering arrhythmia care and advancing new techniques in cardiac rhythm management.

This image of the team celebrates the expertise of the clinicians, physiologists and staff who work together in the lab to deliver complex procedures and continually push the field forward.

Congratulations on another new ablation technology successfully and safely used at St Georges!
